Phezulu offers our visitors an hour scenic Game drive into the Valley of a Thousand Hills. Game drive times are as follows: 9 am, 10am 11am, 12:30pm 1:30pm, 2:30pm & 3:30 pm. You will be taken by one of our experienced guides in a covered 4×4 vehicle where you will learn about the local fauna and flora whilst enjoying the amazing views. On the drive you will see bush buck, wildebeest, impala, blesbok, zebra and giraffe and a variety of bird species.

Experience both traditional and modern world renown Zulu culture, from customs to beliefs within urban to peri-urban, and rural to semi-rural settings. Enjoy a visit to the Sangoma (traditional healer/fortune teller), local curio shops for souvenirs, safari and reptile park experience and talk with village elders.

The home of steam locomotive preservation in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. Umgeni Steam Railway runs steam train rides for tourists and visitors. Trains run through the picturesque Valley of a Thousand Hills between Inchanga and Botha’s Hill on the last weekend of each month, with occasional additional trains during school holidays and for special events, such as “Carols by Candlelight”. At Inchanga station the Inchanga Community Craft Market operates whenever USR trains are run.
