Logos Hope is returning to South Africa!
Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating bookfair, is coming to Durban. Many may remember our previous visits in 2016 when thousands of visitors were welcomed up the gangways.
Visitors to Logos Hope are offered an expanded selection of over 5,000 different titles of books at affordable prices. They cover a wide range of subjects including science, sports, hobbies, cookery, arts, medicine, languages and faith. With children’s titles, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases and more, the bookfair has something for everyone.
The rest of the Visitor Experience Deck is also open for the public to explore; from the Welcome Area, which introduces the vessel through a short movie and interactive displays; to the International Café, which has ice cream, drinks and snacks for sale.
Logos Hope will open to the public at Nelson Mandela Cruise Terminal from the 8th of May to the 2nd of June 2024.

Our book fair will be open to school visits from May 24th to June 2nd, 2024, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays.
To ensure an optimal experience and considering space constraints, we kindly request that all visits be pre-booked. Students from Grade 4 and above are cordially invited to attend, with each group of 10 students requiring supervision by at least one teacher or adult. Teachers will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing their students during the visit.
