CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT TRAIN SCHEDULE
No better way to celebrate Christmas than singing Carols by Candlelight under the starlit skies of Inchanga!
Join us as we depart from Kloof Railway Station, behind an 83 year old steam locomotive, Wesley, at 17h00 meandering along the Valley of 1000 Hills, through one of the oldest operating tunnels in South Africa to Inchanga.
At Inchanga, explore our Railway Museum situated in the Old Station Master’s House, find “mini” trains (including Thomas & Friends) in our Modeller’s Shed on the platform & browse through the Inchanga Station Craft Market’s Christmas Market looking for treasures & Christmas presents, grab some dinner, as food sold suites most tastes, before joining us as the sun sets to sing carols.
Santa & his elves will be on board checking who is naughty & nice!

Why not join us for our well-known Carols by Candlelight trips where we sing Carols under the starlit sky at Inchanga – these trips depart at 17h00 on the 16th, 17th & 18th of December 2021. - No Card Facilities at Inchanga or on the train, please carry cash to use on the train and in Inchanga.
- The train is not wheelchair accessible.
- Wheelchairs and prams go into baggage compartment.
- Due to various reasons out of our control, the locomotive can be changed from steam to diesel.
